Alex is a writer, researcher, and environmental activist who is passionate about history, philosophy, and language. He went to the McLean School in Potomac, the College of Wooster in Ohio, and currently lives in Oakland, California.

In his spare time, he listens to music, goes hiking, writes in his journal, and loves to keep up with current events.
