​​Laura earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Sociology and Spanish from Mount Saint Mary's University. She earned a Master's of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. Laura grew up with a desire to help others and to make a difference, especially in the lives of children and adolescents. For nearly 20 years, Laura has been teaching adult students to prepare for the GED test. She has also been providing one-on-one tutoring in math, reading, and writing for K-12 students. Laura's areas of instructional focus are elementary and middle-school level math and writing. She is excited about contributing to the academic and emotional success of students.
